Before I found the energy to get up this morning I was doing the daily scroll through instagram. I came across Man Repeller's post of an article from the New York Times.

                   

I gave the article a google which led me to discover writer, Joan Didion's 1967 essay 'Goodbye to All That'. I mean god she's good. For a moment I felt like I escaped to New York for a bit. It was brilliant. As the reader you get an insight into her 8 year experience of living in New York City. Have a read for yourself here. Print it off. Read it, read it again.
